Oh so fickle Scruffy!

Dusty has gone on her travels.
She popped into her travel bag and after checking her label was securely attached, Twiglet posted her to her new owner.

Well, you would think Scruffy may have been a little subdued.
No chance.
He found Dusty's twin sister, Tottie,  sitting demurely watching Twiglet make a new little friend. As you can see, he has snuggled up to her and all thoughts of Dusty are well and truly gone - oh so fickle Scruffy!!!

Meanwhile Pinxie has her eye on the new desk tidy and matching items which are all ready to go in Sisters Crafty Creations blog shop. She thinks the baby wipe holder, needle case and pin cushion would match her outfit perfectly and I am inclined to agree. She is certainly in the pink!!

And the latest news from the blog shop
Emmys, Brits, Oscars and now......... the Joannies!

Today we are awarding our first Joannie.
This is the first give away for our new range of crafter's accessories.

Come on girls what do you think?

We had a fabulous response to our request for ideas for crafty items which you might find useful in your work area, for storage or for carrying your equipment.  Wipso and I have been really busy [so what's new?] designing and creating [and having lots of fun].  These are the items we have made so far but there are lots more in the pipeline.

We had such a lot of ideas, either on our blogs or in emails, that we have decided to put a different item up for a gift each week.  This will be posted in the blog shop and to stand a chance of winning the gift you need to leave us a comment telling us why you would like it and how you would use it.  Each week we will do a draw and post the result in the shop with the news of the next week's gift.

We are hoping to get a bit more feed back from you so we know we are on the right lines then in the next few weeks we will be uploading them in the shop for sale.

These are the items we have made so far.....

Baby wipe cover, pin cushion, needle / pin case.
Green with chicken print.

Baby wipe cover, pin cushion, needle / pin case.
White with strawberry print

Baby wipe cover, pin cushion, needle / pin case and ribbon holder.
Red / white stripe with poppy embellishment.

Pen / pencil roll.  Holds 17 pens / pencils
Pink / burgundy cotton print.

Crafter's pocketed apron with tie fastenings.
Grey / white print with 6 pockets.
This will be the first item in the shop blog draw so pop over and leave us a comment if you would like to win one.  Only comments left in the shop will be entered in the draw.

WOYWW - cheery colours on a gloomy day!

Happy Wednesday everyone!
What a gloomy day yesterday when I took my photo. I had just returned from the dentist and it was cold and miserable outside, so I made a coffee, got nice and cosy and sorted my table out ready for work!
Dusty and Scruffy insisted on being in the photo and Pinxie couldn't be left out, so here they are, all snuggled up together. Of course, Scruffy is enjoying all the attention that his two lady friends are giving him!

Well, I am sure you will all have had wonderful cards, flowers and chocs for Valentine's day this week.
As usual, my day passed very much like any other, except that it was fun day Monday! To cheer myself up, I nipped into the blog shop and helped myself to this little heart brooch. It looked so cute, sitting on one of the lovely embossed  cards that Ikki made for me. (She is a treasure and produced a pack of cards in cream and white with 3 different embossed designs on them - perfect for displaying my brooches).
So, all day Monday, I wore my little brooch. Hubby never even noticed - it could have come from an admirer couldn't it!! lol - well he wasn't bothered where it came from!

What else can you see - oh yes - my gorgeous Sirdar Baby Crofter wool. I am knitting a little bolero cardi for P. Its a new colour range and I love it - hope she does too.

On the left is a little package containing one of the items we have designed for you lovely card makers. Wipso needs to see it first before we go public with it!!
The bright fabrics will be used to make more desktop items once we have got the design right. More scrummy colours, I think - don't you??

OK - I am off to check out a few WOYWW blogs.
Have fun and if you don't know what this is all about then follow the link to Julia's blog and all will become clear.

WOYWW - Dusty meets Pinxie

Good morning all!

A pretty array for you to peruse this morning.
After a wonderful fun day Monday, little Pinxie came home to join her new friends. Of course Scruffy disgraced himself (See post below!). But Dusty seems to like our new pink and punky little friend.
So, here they are, sitting on my table with the 2 scented valentine hearts, a new little phone cosy and a cute little scented owl. You may recognise the felted sweater fabric in the pile below.

Today, I am hoping to create a few more items with my recycled sweaters - maybe a few brooches for Springtime to go with the heart brooches already in the blog shop.
Wipso and I have updated the blog shop and put lots more crafty creations on the shelves so do pop over and have a peek.

Just to say.... There is a fab "GIVE AWAY" on Jensters blog so pop over and help her celebrate her 50th birthday!!

Then nip over to the lovely Julia's blog and join in the mad Wednesday blog hop.
Thanks for calling in here - I love to hear from you all and I will get round to as many blogs as possible this week and see what you have been up to.

Monday 7 February 2011

Scruffy and the new kid on the block!

Well Scruffy - you have have really let yourself down today!!!

Look at you - our new little friend Pinxie calls to visit Dusty and you just can't wait to to climb up and say "hello". Unfortunately your shorts are at half mast and you are exposing your builders bum to everyone!
Dusty is really disappointed in you. She thought she had a more than a little romance going on with you and now it looks as if you are easily swayed by a bit of funky pink frizz and a belly button stud!

Well Scruffy - with Valentine's Day only a week away, I think your best plan is to pop over to Sisters Crafty Creations blog shop and treat Dusty to a pretty gift from the new collection. Wipso and Twiglet have been really busy creating some fab little treasures and I am sure you will find a nice heart brooch for her.
I hope, that by WOYWW, you will have sorted things out between you and Dusty - oh and for goodness sake - Pull your shorts up!!

Quick update!

Wipso has this on her blog - she wants us to pass it round.
So if you would like to pass on some love then pick up the pic and pop it on your blog so that we can send some love around the world!!!

Friday 4 February 2011

They've been framed!

Well - so many kind folk said I should frame my little "dumfed" seascapes that I decided to make two more and do just that!
So on this wild and windy Friday - out came the felt, yarns, wools and beads and I spent a busy afternoon crafting.
The result....

I think it was worth the effort.
I will pop them in the shop on Monday along with Wipso's gorgeous poppy pictures and all the new brooches and Valentine's hearts that are currently being finished.
Have a great weekend everyone!

WOYWW

Good morning to all my visitors!
It's a damp and gloomy day today - so different to the bright, sunny day of yesterday when the birds were singing and I almost thought Spring might be on its way!! Oh and a beautiful starry night too - with owls hooting round Wipso's garden. Oh well - we know Spring will come - we just have to be patient!

Now - the old work table today is covered with activities of last week and some WIP for this week.
The cards are my latest little dumfed collages - seascapes and moorlands. I love making these tiny pics - maybe I should mount them in little frames to sell?
I found the gorgeous Laura Ashley, fairisle cardi in a local charity shop. I just loved the colour combo and thought of all the lovely little items I can make from it, once it has been hot-washed and felted.
Peeping out from beneath it and just on the top, you can spot the next little project that we at "Sisters Crafty Creations" are busy with. Hearts and flowers and all things romantic for Valentine's Day. Pop over to our newly revamped blog shop in the next few days and see what we have been up to!!

Thanks to everyone who called here last week and left lovely comments. I will try to get round a few more of you this week.

Have fun and if you don't know what this is all about then follow the link to Julia's blog and all will become clear.
